The Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office provides programs to the U of T community to increase awareness, understanding and competencies in racial equity, diversity and inclusion to foster inclusive environments at the University.

Complaint Resolution Supports

ARCDO addresses concerns of harassment and discrimination (direct and systemic) based on race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship and creed in accordance with the University’s Statement on Prohibited Discrimination and Discriminatory Harassment. Students, staff and faculty can access the Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office to raise a concern. Resolution supports can include consultations and referrals.

EDI Strategic Initiatives Consultation and Resources

The Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office provides services and resources to the U of T community to support efforts that put the values of racial equity, diversity and inclusion on the agenda.

Community Outreach & Engagement

At the core of antiracism, equity, diversity and inclusion work is connection with community. The Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office recognizes its responsibility to support the increasing of pathways and access to the University of Toronto for potential students and employees of the institution. The Office supports and collaborates with internal and external committees and organizations across the GTA.
